Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor- Revlon

This is a review for the Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor.
Like many similar products, it comes in a 2 step application process. Step one involves applying the color evenly and letting it dry. Mind you, you can layer several coats of color if desired.

Below is a photo of a singular layer on one side of my lips.

This is what the product looks like with both steps and two layers of color.

While I really like durable lip products, this one wasn't one of my favorites. This product is hard to eat in because it can shed and look messy after eating. Even with the gloss coat, my lips ends up chapped and flaky the next day.

I would prefer the other Colorstay Suede stick to this.

Genifique Eye - Lancôme

I received a deluxe sample size of the Genifique Eye by Lancome. The sample is half the size of the full product.

I've heard many lovely things about this eye cream so I was really excited to try it. Like many of the eye products I have tried, this one did nothing positive for me. In fact, I started to notice MORE wrinkles after the fact. One day, the skin was so dry that the under eye wrinkle lines stuck after I smiled. I was miserable. I stopped using this stuff and switched back to a different cream.

Overall, I would not recommend purchasing this product. Test it first to see how your eyes do with it first.

ALMAY smart shade anti-aging makeup

I purchased this on clearance for a buck at Ulta. I knew what I was buying wasn't a miracle product, but I needed something to mix with one of my foundations that was a couple shades too deep.

By itself, this product would make a pretty good BB cream. It gives just enough sheer coverage to help you feel like you tried that morning. ;)

As expected, it doesn't custom-fit to you skin. That's just not possible with our current technology. The cream color activates once it is blended.

For a dollar, I'm not going to complain.

Galaxy Leggings and Feria Ombre Kit for Medium to Dark Brown

Hey readers! My galaxy leggings arrived a few days ago. Here are the photos.
I like these, but I also like the other patterns they offer like the violet pair or the one with moons. I might order more! Galaxy Leggings Nebula Tights Elastic Pants Stars Cloud Printed Empire Waist Free Size Okay, so here's my review for Feria Ombre Kit.
This kit did NOT give the dramatic change as shown on the box. Although the instructions said not to leave it on for more than 45 mins, my hair wouldn't change unless left on for a full hour. Even then, I managed to get an auburn color. Barely noticeable. I redid it a second time and managed to get a lighter brown. This kit might be good for giving yourself highlights, but I wouldn't expect a dramatic change like on the box without doing it a couple of times. I'll post pictures soon.

Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream Fragrance-free

I have had this cream for about half of a year. Here's what I can tell you about it. This cream is pretty heavy. I usually only wear it on nights when my skin has been feeling dry and the Olay resurfacing elixir isn't cutting it.

Like many other beauty gurus have mentioned, this packaging is just awful. Why would I want to keep sticking my hand into product and give bacteria a place to grow? I'm surprised Olay hasn't repackaged this into a pump already.

For the price you can get it at, I would say the micro-sculpting cream does a pretty good job at hydrating. I'm too young to really notice if it helps with wrinkles, but I always believe in being proactive!

Darphin Intral Cleansing Milk

So I received a deluxe sample bottle of this Darphin Intral Cleansing Milk. I have to say, I'm in LOVE. When it comes to cleansers, I usually don't have much to say aside from the typical questions like, "Did it take off my makeup?", "Does it help with blemishes?", "Does my skin feel tight after using it?".

I can't say that it directly makes my skin amazing to look at or touch. All I can say is that I feel amazing the entire day from the scent alone. Even under my moisturizers and makeup, I can still smell this. It's a light, powdery floral smell that lingers and makes me feel lovely.

While I certainly wouldn't pay the retail price for this product, I wouldn't mind receiving another sample for pleasure.

Before any reviews, I wanted to post about Influenster. I joined a few weeks ago. They send you products for free to try and review.

Crest - 3D Professional Effects White Strips

Yee-ouch! I got this for a super deal with a rebate, and man, I'm wondering if it was worth it. I had originally intended on posting about these Crest 3D Professional Effects White Strips, but it looks like it's going to have to wait. I tried twice to get these work for me, but about 3 hours after each application, my teeth felt like something was crushing them. It was a nearly electric pain. Someone told me to try using ACT and Sensodyne for a few weeks before trying again. So I shall. So I shall..

Guess Who's Back? And Galaxy Trending

Hey!

It's me. I know it's been a while since I last posted a beauty adventure. I have a lot more time now, and trust me...we've got a lot of catching up to do.

I'm still going to focus on nail projects, but I have a ton of other beauty projects to review as well.

Let's start off with a huge sale on nail products. I still love to get my nail stuff from the Born Pretty Store. They've still got really good prices, but they haven't held any freebie promotions in a while.

That being said, the 3rd Sale Anniversary is coming! It's from the 15th of October until the 16th. Everything is 20% off.
I saw these really cute Galaxy leggings on the website.
Celestial Leggings Star Print Tights Leggings

I've notice Galaxy everywhere lately. From the bralettes and panties at Victoria's Secret to corsets and skirts at Spencers.

Anywho, check out the sale. I'll be back with some more nail projects and reviews soon.

wet n wild juicy lip balm in Raspberry

I wanted to give a long review on this next product, but I honestly can't.

Wet n wild's juicy lip balm is AWFUL. It IS indeed moist, but it tastes miserable. The scent isn't half bad, but the color is so deep and awkward. I would probably only recommend this product to AV stars that want to temporarily darken their lady bits.

Bare Minerals Illuminating Mineral Veil

I purchased this Mineral Veil back when Ulta had them 40% off. The store must have mistakenly put the Illuminating version in the Original section. I regret not keeping the receipt.

While I have heard many women adore the illuminating version because of its ability hide to age with shimmer, I ended up feeling like a Twilight vampire.

Sometimes I will mix it with darker powder, but otherwise I only use this stuff as a highlighter or at night.
