Airbrush Legs- Sally Hansen

This lovely sales associate saw me meandering around the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs product and handed me a pile of the product samples to try. It's about that time where my arms are infinitely tanner than my legs, so I figured now would be ideal for testing it out.

This product applies almost like makeup, but it's more forgiving than a sunless tanner. It's not quite as streaky and blends pretty well. We went out dancing that night, and the product didn't rub off while we were out. I would recommend this product over others.

RAW Bright Betty Red Demi-Permanent Hair Color

I was fortunate enough to receive this product from a friend (she didn't like the color). For a while, I had been thinking about doing a Harley Quinn cosplay. I've been messing around with my hair quite a bit the past few months. For a while, I had ombre hair (see photo below). It seemed the ideal time to play around with a few colored products.
Unfortunately, this product came out in gobs and made me look like a had murdered a few radioactive chickens in my bathroom.

Here are the color results:

Each time I shampoo my hair, the water runs a deep orangey-pink. The color fades quite unevenly. I'm not sure I would want to repurchase it because of all the wonderful things people have been saying about a different company's products. I have one more RAW product to try in a deep blue. You can expect a review of that in a few more months.

Maybelline Mineral Powder

After having my first container of Bare Minerals powder stolen, I replaced it with another mineral powder from a cheaper company. I purchased the Mineral Power powder from Maybelline. Unlike the Bare Minerals products, each container comes with a small kabuki brush (I use this with my other powder products like the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Powder).

Compared to the other BM powder, this one is a bit more condensed on the face. This might be because of the type of brush. Overall, I feel like this product has a heavier feel to it. I personally prefer a looser feeling on my face, so I mix in a bit of the BM Illuminating Mineral Veil with it each day.

At the price, I can justify choosing this instead of the more expensive products.

LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR DUO

I tried this set of acne treatments from Murad. It claimed to clear your skin after three days of use. The results: it did!

I've used a number of acne treatments, and I can honestly say this one stuck out from the others in terms of the results.

The first step is a gel cleanser that claims to balance the pH levels of the skin.
The second is a lotion like all of the other benzoyl peroxide treatments out there.

This definitely cleared my skin up quickly, but it also made the skin feel tight, tender, and dried out. I cut down to once a day, but I still didn't like the redness it was leaving me with. I personally have sensitive skin, but I don't doubt that this product would do wonders to a more oily face.
